Clinical Study of Infantile Massage Combined with Abdominal Vibration in the Treatment of Indigestion(Spleen Deficiency and Accumulation Syndrome)
Objective To explore the effect of infantile massage combined with abdominal vibration on the improvement of clinical symptoms in children with indigestion of spleen deficiency and accumulation syndrome.Methods Sixty-four children with indigestion of spleen deficiency and accumulation syndrome admitted to the Massage Department of Children's Hospital Affiliated to Shandong University were enrolled and randomly divided into an observation group(32 cases)and a control group(32 cases).The control group received routine infantile massage treatment for about 15 min,while the observation group had an additional abdominal vibration manipulation for 5 min,three times a week,for a total of 4 weeks.The improvement in total syndrome scores,primary symptom scores,secondary symptom scores,and individual symptom scores of the two groups were observed and compared.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The improvement in total syndrome score,primary symptom score,and secondary symptom score of the observation group were better than those of the control group(P<0.01,P<0.05).Regarding the score of each symptom,the improvement in the scores of three primary symptoms and two secondary symptoms of mental fatigue,limb fatigue,and sallow complexion in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.01,P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in abdominal fullness and emaciation(P>0.05).Conclusion Routine infantile massage combined with abdominal vibration can improve the therapeutic effect of infantile indigestion of spleen deficiency and accumulation syndrome and significantly improve the syndrome score of children.This approach is worthy of clinical promotion.
