Chemical Constituents from Ethyl Acetate Parts of Lycii Cortex
Objective To study the chemical constituents from ethyl acetate part of Lycii Cortex(the root bark of Lycium chinense). Methods The chemical constituents of 75%ethanol extract from Lycii Cortex were isolated by traditional separation methods, and their structures were elucidated by means of spectroscopic analysis(NMR and ESI-MS).Results 16 compounds were separated from Lycii Cortex and identified by spectroscopic analysis as:2-hydroxy-3,4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde(1),β-sitosterol(2),vanillin(3),springaldehyde(4),6,7-dimethoxycoumarin(5),scopoletin(6),dehydropseudophenone(7),naphthalenemethanol,1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-4-hydroxy-α,α,5,8-tetramethyl(8),2-methoxy-5-allylbenzaldehyde(9),caruilignan D(10),syringaresinol(11),evofolin B(12),(7S,8S,8'R)-3,3'-dimethoxy-7,9'-epoxylignane-4,4',9-triol(13),canusesnol A(14),7'-ethoxy-trans-feruloyltyramine(15),corchoionol C(16).Conclusion Compounds 1,9,10 and 15 are isolated from Solanaceae for the first time, compounds 7,12,14 are isolated from Lycium genus for the first time, and compounds 4,11,13 are isolated from Lycii Cortex for the first time.
