Optimization of Generator Thermal Management in Turbine Power Generation System

摘要
涡轮发电系统作为混合动力系统中的重要部分,其温升问题将影响到发电机的运行安全,导致整个混合动力系统停止运转,而发电机绝大部分热量集中在定子部分.本文基于混合动力背景,对某高速永磁发电机进行热分析研究,发现主要发热部位绕组和定子铁心各处温度分布存在一定不均匀性.基于此,分析两种冷却优化方向的效果.在水平双进口方案和轭部开孔孔径增大方案中,分别观察到各处温差明显减小以及电机整体温度明显降低,冷却效果十分优异.
Abstract
Turbine power generation system is an important part of hybrid power system,its temperature rise will affect the operation safety of the generator,causing the whole hybrid power system to stop running,and most of the heat of the generator is concentrated in the sta-tor part.Based on the hybrid background,the thermal analysis of a high speed permanent magnet generator is carried out in this paper.It is found that the temperature distribution of the winding and the stator core in the main heating part is not uniform.Based on this,the effects of two cooling optimization directions are analyzed.In the scheme of horizontal double inlet and the scheme of increasing the opening diam-eter of the yoke,it is observed that the temperature difference and the whole temperature of the motor are obviously reduced,and the cooling effect is very good.
