Finite Element Analysis and Optimization of Rotary Blowout Preventer Base Shell
Aiming at a mainstream rotary blowout preventer produced abroad,this paper establishes a three-dimensional solid model of the rotary blowout preventer with zhongwang3D,a three-dimensional CAD modeling software.The three-dimensional solid model of the outer shell of the base was imported into ANSYS software,and the stress intensity distribution of the outer shell was solved through finite element analysis.Two paths were set for equivalent linearization respectively,and the primary integral film stress,primary local film stress,primary bending stress,secondary stress and peak stress on the two paths were obtained.The strength of the outer shell of the rotating BOP base was checked.Through ANSYS WorkBench simulation platform,the outer shell of the base was optimized and the optimization param-eters of the outer shell of the base were obtained.
