Linear Regression Analysis and Uncertainty Evaluation of the Relationship Between Axial Force and Torque of High Strength Bolts in Pressure Vessels
High strength bolts are widely used in various chemical equipment and pipelines. In order to quantify the inspection standards in the assembly process, the corresponding Relational model between torque and axial force of high-strength bolts is established.Based on the axial force torque experiment of high strength bolts,a theoretical relationship model between the tightening torque and axial force of high-strength bolts is established using a one-dimensional linear regression analysis method; And the residual standard deviation is used to evaluate the uncertainty of the slope and intercept of the linear regression model. The results show that the error between the regression results calcu-lated by the model and the experimental results is within±7%,and the relative percentage of the remaining standard deviation of the bolt axial force to the average value is less than 3%.The linear regression equation can accurately predict the relationship between high-strength bolt torque and axial force, and uncertainty analysis can accurately obtain the confidence intervals of each parameter. The research has certain theoretical significance and application value in improving high strength bolts'assembly quality and connection performance.
