This article combines the case of fatigue fracture of the thermometer sleeve that installed on the pressure pipeline which transport-ing low-temperature propane at a chemical terminal.The paper Performs failure analysis on the fracture surface and has complete explana-tions of the mechanism and failure reasons of fatigue fracture.Finally,rationalization suggestions and measures are proposed for this case.
