Research on Comfort Optimization Strategy Based on three Stages in the Braking Process of Metro Trains
With the continuous development of rolling stocks in China, high comfort has become an important index for assessing the quality of train operation. However, there is insufficient attention to the comfort level during the entire braking process, including stages such as electric brake fading and parking. The comfort index is evaluated based on average braking jerk, instantaneous jerk, and deceleration rate of change under the service braking conditions of metro trains in this paper.Experiments were conducted on a metro train using the control parameters before and after optimization. The test results demonstrated a notable improvement in the train's comfort at the three stages, with increases of 15.85%,58.23%,and 58.39%,respectively.
