Application Analysis on Cold Insulation Material in Cryogenic Pipeline
Aerospace cryogenic pipeline is the pipeline system which is used to transport liquid hydrogen,liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen.Rigid polyurethane foam(PUR)and flexible foam rubber are commonly used as cold insulation material in cryogenic piping systems of liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen.In order to solve the problems of PUR insulation material used in aerospace cryogenic pipeline,the feasi-bility and advantage of replacing PUR insulation material with polyisocyanate(PIR)insulation material are put forward by contrast test,and the construction technology of PIR insulation material is described.It is necessary to design and select the cold insulation material reason-ably and meet the relevant standards and specifications in the application of cryogenic pipeline.
