Automated In-Mold Insert Molding Methods and Injection Mold System
Light industrial mold engineering is known as the"mother of industry,"but traditional injection molding of embedded parts requires a lot of manpower and material resources,is time-consuming and inefficient.This thesis improves the process by:extracting the metal plate of the mobile phone front cover from the storage position and sending it to the feeding position,extracting the workpiece from the feeding position and sending it to the embedded molding mold,forming the workpiece with the runner frame,and then extracting the formed workpiece with the runner frame;moving the formed workpiece to the flipping position,cutting off the runner frame on the workpiece during the movement process,and vacuum adsorption unit on the flipping position adsorbs the workpiece with vacuum,pulling the workpiece down and flipping it 180 degrees during the downward movement,adjusting the position of the workpiece,and performing visual recognition inspection or manual inspection;integrating the feeding,embedded molding,deburring,and inspection into a single system,with seamless transitions between each step,allowing for continuous in-mold embedded part forming,which can increase process-ing efficiency by more than 3 times compared to the current multi-step,separate operation process,and reduce equipment costs.
