Sustainable Mechanical Design Based on Ecological Design Principles and Lifecycle Assessment
Faced with the challenges of global sustainable development,the design of power engineering machinery needs to transform to reduce environmental impact and improve resource efficiency.Explore the application of ecological design principles and life cycle assessment(LCA)in achieving design sustainability.The article first emphasizes the importance of considering ecological principles such as material se-lection,energy efficiency,and system integration in the early stages of design.Next,the environmental impact of each stage from raw ma-terials to waste was quantified using LCA tools,and a case study was conducted to demonstrate how to optimize the design based on LCA results.The article concludes by discussing the challenges and countermeasures in implementation,providing strategies and references for sus-tainable design in the fields of electricity and other engineering.
