Drive chain relaxation detection method and design of tension device based on vibration
A study was conducted on the vibration,frequency,and tension issues of the escalator transmission system in response to the abnormal noise and vibration problems that often occur during the operation of the escalator.Firstly,the frequency spectrum analysis method was used to analyze the vibration frequency and harmonic frequency that occur during the operation of the escalator.Comparing with the theoretical frequency,the source of abnormal vibration frequency was analyzed and identified.Then,the possible vibration sources were further verified,the determined vibration sources were adjusted,and whether the adjustment method was effective based on the vibration test results was determined.Finally,a main drive chain tensioning device was designed for easy observation and adjustment,which not only improved the vibration state but also provided safety protection in the event of chain breakage.The research results indicate that based on the natural frequency and harmonic frequency of each vibration source,the actual frequency can be compared with it to quickly determine the vibration source.Targeted adjustments are made to the identified vibration sources,resulting in a maximum reduction of 61.5%in vibration values and improving the efficiency of escalator testing.After using the tensioning device,the noise is reduced by 3.3 dB(A),effectively improving the vibration state of the main drive chain and enhancing the quality of operation.
