Heat flow model and its characteristics for sling-oil retainer of turbine powered simulator
As an important part of the turbine power simulator(TPS),the sling-oil retainer can effectively promote the return of lubricating oil in the internal circulation system of the simulator, improve the lubricity of the bearing and reduce the temperature rise of the system, which provides a basic guarantee for the safety and reliability of the whole TPS.In order to address the issue of the return of lubricating oil in the internal circulation system of the TPS,the research was conducted on the TPS sling-oil retainer and its internal channel.Firstly, bearing heat generation and heat dissipation coefficients with rotational speed, fluid governing equation and its boundary conditions were defined. Then,a complete internal circulation heat flow model of a type of TPS sling-oil retainer and its internal channel was constructed, and the temperature at the bearing of the simulation results was compared with that of the experimental results to ensure the rationality of the model. Finally, the temperature field, pressure field and velocity field of the internal circulation channel at different speeds were obtained by solving the heat flow model. The research results show that the increasing speed can significantly enhance the maximum temperature of the system, and the temperature of the internal flow field is relatively stable due to the dynamic effect of the sling-oil retainer.Under the typical working conditions, the maximum relative error of the temperature obtained by simulation and experiment is 12.3%,which shows the rationality of the heat flow model. The research results are of important value for guiding the structural design of the sling-oil retainer and improving the safety and stability of the whole TPS system.
