In order to study the performance of proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC)at different deflection angles in the variable diameter region,the gas flow rate,mass fraction,pressure and water content in the cell channel at different deflection angles were simulated using ANSYS Fluent software.The analyzed results show that the flow velocity in the channel is mainly be-tween 6 m/s and 7 m/s at different deflection angles,the deflection angle corresponding to the relatively large proportion of flow ve-locity points is 50°,and the corresponding deflection angles corresponding to the relatively small proportion are 75°;The deflec-tion angle corresponding to relatively large flow velocity is 75°and 60°.With the increase of the deflection angle,the linear in-crease rate of the absolute pressure curve of anode hydrogen is relatively large,which corresponds to the deflection angles of 70° and 75°,and the smaller one corresponds to the deflection angle of 40°;The deviation angle corresponding to the relatively large absolute pressure curve of cathode oxygen is 60°,the deviation angle corresponding to the relatively small one is 40°,the devia-tion angle corresponding to the relatively large mass fraction of water in the outlet channel is 40°,70°and 75°,and the deviation angle corresponding to the relatively small one is 60°.After comprehensive consideration,it is found that the appropriate deflec-tion angle for relatively good battery efficiency is 60°.
