Study on Air Conditioning System Assisted by Waste Heat for Electric Vehicles
In view of energy saving and adaptability of existing air conditionings,a novel heat pump air conditioning system assisted by waste heat for electric vehicles is proposed. This system is integrated inverter technology,two-stage compression cycle technology as well as heat pump technology assisted by waste heat. The system performance is studied by the simulation analysis under different operating states. The simulation results show that the cooling/heating capacity and the energy efficiency ratio can be optimized by adjusting the compressor frequency and fans frequency coordinately. Also, the heating performance can be im-proved as well as the system can run reliably under low outdoor temperature by setting the switching point of two-stage compres-sion cycle reasonably.Furthermore, the waste heat assistant heat pump can achieve energy saving of this system. The research re-sults provide a reference for reducing the influence of air conditioning system on the range of electric vehicles and promoting the popularity of electric vehicles.
