The Anti-bunker Strategy of the CPC during the Revolutionary War
The CPC has encountered the enemies'bunker policy for three times.The first time the enemy im-plemented the bunker policy was during the fifth anti-encirclement campaign.during which the CPC accumulated some experience in anti-bunker operations.During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression,the Japa-nese army adopted the bunker policy to strengthen the attacks on the base areas in the central Hebei region.Facing the policy again,the CPC won.The third time was during the War of Liberation,when Yan Xishan adopted the bunker policy in the Taiyuan campaign.This time,the CPC's response was more mature.Although the enemy used the bunker policy many times,the usage varied in different periods,and the CPC made different countermeas-ures.In this process,its anti-bunker strategy gradually matured.
