Faith is an ultimate value goal,a firm trust and persistent pursuit,and people's identification of the highest value of life.College students are the target group to implement the important task of establishing moral education,and they are the force of socialist modernisation construction,so it is especially important to shape their beliefs and abide by them.With the prosperity of business and the rapid development of the Internet and self-media,secular beliefs such as money worship and egoism are gradually growing on university campuses and produ-cing adverse effects.In order to safeguard the physical and mental health of university students and promote the high-quality development of socialist spiritual civilisation,we must take effective countermeasures to curb the in-fluence of secular beliefs on university students and ensure the dominance of socialist core values.
