The newly established local undergraduate colleges and universities are located in prefecture level cities and have countless connections with the regional communities.How to coordinate the development of newly established local undergraduate colleges with regional economy under the service concept is an urgent problem that needs to be solved.The exploration and practice made by Changzhi University in solving the problem have good en-lightenment significance and to some degree can serve as a reference for other similar and equivalent newly estab-lished undergraduate colleges and universities in their exploration of regional economic development.
