In response to the problem of the large volume of the side exhaust device of marine steam turbines and the difficulty in setting it up in the cabin,numerical simulation methods are used to calculate and analyze the flow of the orifice plate throttling orifice plate,and oblique hole throttling is used to try to improve the problem and increase the recommended capacity of the single stage orifice plate.The research results indicate that the use of inclined holes can effectively increase the pressure reducing ability of the pressure reducing device.Increasing the inclination angle,reducing the diameter of the flow hole,and increasing the thickness of the inclined hole plate can all increase the pressure reducing ability of the inclined hole plate.
