A parameter mapping based finite element model construction method is proposed for bolt structures. The geometric partitioning of different regions of the bolts effectively simplifies the geometric complexity of the overall structure of the bolts, indirectly improving the accuracy and quality of mesh generation. The refined mesh division is carried out for the main force bearing area in the bolt structure, namely the thread structure,to guide the generation of high-precision thread structure mesh. The process of quickly guiding the automatic generation of bolt structure geometric modeling through design parameters is realized, and the automatic establishment of thread contact surface is realized, which effectively improves the modeling efficiency of bolt structure and meets the local strength simulation requirements of bolt components. It provides effective model input for the rapid selection of multiple types of bolt components. The effectiveness and reliability of the parameterized modeling process proposed are verified through an example analysis.
