Most past studies were centered on the evaluation of sci-tech finance and the relationship between sci-tech finance and sci-tech innovation,and few of them were concerned with the development of sci-tech fi-nance and the quality of China's economic development.Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China,this study did an empirical research on the role of the sci-tech finance in promoting high-quality economic develop-ment in different regions and different periods.The result reveals that the quality of China's economic growth is spatially dependent and the development of sci-tech finance can promote the improvement of the quality of eco-nomic growth,which shows up most obviously in the central part of the country,and less in the eastern cities,and further less in the marginal regions.The finding also exposes to us that the promotion coefficient was quite small and insignificant before 2015,while since 2015,the coefficient has increased.In concluding part,the au-thor put forward some suggestions based on the research result.
