A Study on the Integration of Musical Creation and Performance:Taking the Oberman Valley of Liszt's Years of Travel:Travels in Switzerland as Example
Oberman Valley is a piece of music in Liszt's Years of Travel:Travels in Switzerland.The whole piece of the work is centered on a motivation,with its melody changing constantly and developing smoothly.According to the functional characteristics of the music presentation,it can be divided into four parts:initiating,standing,transferring and concluding,which does not belong to the traditional musical structure.Liszt made the creation through combining emotive words with a variety of musical symbols.By taking the emotive words used in the work as entry point,this study gives a deep consideration and analysis to its creation background and the details of the music score so as to grasp the exact connotation of this piece of music and to figure out the means of per-formance for expressing the connotation,which is quite helpful in promoting the integration of creation and per-formance.
