A Quasi-experimental Study of Mindfulness-based Self-help Intervention on the Mental Health of College Students
This study adopts the method of quasi-experimental design to examine the influence of mindfulness-based self-help intervention on the level of mindfulness,rumination thinking and subjective well-being of college students.Through the method of cluster sampling,177 college students from a university in Jiangxi Province were subjected to quasi-experimentally guided self-help intervention for mindfulness intervention,and the influence of mindfulness intervention on the level of mindfulness,rumination thinking and subjective well-being of college students was studied by the method of pre and post test.The results showed as follows:①Before mindfulness in-tervention,there were no significant differences in the level of mindfulness,rumination and subjective well-being between the experimental group and the control group;② After the intervention,the level of mindfulness in the experimental group was significantly improved,rumination and negative emotions were significantly reduced),and the control group had no significant change after the intervention.③ After mindfulness intervention,the level of mindfulness and positive emotion in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group,while rumination and negative emotion were significantly lower than that in the control group.
