Construction of the Pragmatic Identity of the Palace Museum in the New Media Context
With 75 tweets published by the official wechat account of the Palace Museum in one year as corpus and the results of the corpus analysis obtained with the help of AntConc,the current study deals with tweets from the aspects of discourse content,phrase and word selection,address form and speech act.The research finds that by wechat public account the Palace Museum has constructed many pragmatic identities such as introducing col-lection resources,popularizer of traditional culture,activity information provider,promoter of cultural and creative products etc.,and has achieved the expected communicative goal through adapting to the social world,the psy-chological world and the physical world.
