A Study on Oral English Anxiety of Non-English Majors Based on Production-oriented Approach:A Case Study of a College
This study took eighty freshmen from two natural classes of Communications Engineering Facuty in one college as the research objects.The Oral English Anxiety Scale with high degree of credibility was compiled to probe into the degree of oral English anxiety.In this study,SPSS28.0 was used to analyze the pretest and posttest statistics of oral English anxiety in the control class and the experimental class.The findings of this study suggest that oral English teaching based on POA can effectively alleviate oral English anxiety,especially communicative anxiety and negative evaluation anxiety,which is conducive to improving the oral English learning effectiveness among non-English majors.
