Role Reconstruction of University Foreign Language Teachers in the Context of Educational Intelligentization:An Educational Ecology Perspective
The rapid development of educational intelligentization is profoundly transforming university foreign language teaching,affecting the role positioning and functions of university foreign language teachers.This article analyzes the profound impact of educational intelligentization on the role of foreign language teachers and the dilemmas encountered by foreign language teachers in the process of role reconstruction.From the perspective of educational ecology,it reveals that foreign language teachers in the new position of the educational ecology should navigate five key relationships:with society,school,fellow teachers,students,and themselves.In terms of role positioning,they should gradually transform from traditional knowledge transmitters to multifaceted roles,in-cluding interdisciplinary knowledge integrators,moral guides,cross-cultural communication instructors,commu-nity builders,learning partners,collaborators,and self-innovators.This study holds significant theoretical and practical implications for understanding the professional development of university foreign language teachers in the context of educational intelligentization,providing valuable insights and guidance to help them successfully transform and adapt their roles in an intelligently evolving educational landscape.
