A Brief Discussion of Underglaze Red Vase with the Inscription"Ma Duanlin,Xu Yuan"in the Yuan Dynasty and Investigation of Related Issues
The purpose of this paper is to disclose an important Yuan Dynasty underglaze red vase with the inscription"Leping Ma Duanlin,Xu Ying"in the collection of Beijing Zhixingtang Art Museum,and to focus on sorting out a number of surviving the Yuan Dynasty(blue and white)underglaze red wares,and to discuss the possibility that some of the Yuan Dynasty underglaze red ware is related to Confucianism and Taoism.Finally,the fact that the ancient"Yuhuchun"type vase was indeed used as a flower vessel was further examined,and it was concluded that in addition to the five offerings and three offerings,there were also two offerings(one furnace and one vase)in the Song and Yuan dynasties,and this vase is the vein.
