This paper briefly introduces the definition and characteristics of expanded clay,as well as the characteristics and development history of abstract sculpture,and focuses on the characteristics of expanded clay's malleability,expansiveness,condensation,and mysteriousness,and elaborates on its application and significance in abstract sculpture.
