Research on Training Strategies of Nursing Undergraduates in Colleges and Universities of Tradi-tional Chinese Medicine from the Perspective of College and University Enrollment
Objective To understand the current enrollment status of undergraduate nursing programs in colleges and universities of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)nationwide and to provide reference for training nursing talents with TCM characteristics.Methods Purposive sampling method was used to select the enrollment of nursing undergraduate majors announced by 24 Chinese TCM colleges and universities from 2021 to 2022.Text analysis method was used for analysis.Results The major setting and distribution varied greatly among colleges,universities and regions.The objectives and curriculum gradually highlighted the characteristics of TCM.Efforts on cultivating top-notch talents were insufficient.The enrollment model was conventional and monotonous and the overall quality of student sources was relatively weak.Conclu-sions Colleges and universities of TCM can enhance the training of nursing undergraduates by optimizing major structures,adjusting enrollment strategies,deepening teaching reforms,and highlighting distinctive cultivation features.
