Objective To explore the characteristics of core competence of evacuation nurses in navy during medical service support and to provide reference for the training.Methods From February to May 2023,with qualitative research methods,semi-structured interviews were conducted among 8 nurses,2 medical administrators and 5 physicians who participated in the actual evacuation tasks during the period of medical service support.Content analysis was used to summarize and extract the theme.Results The core competence of evacuation nurses in navy can be summarized into five themes:knowledge,technology,ability,personality and values.Conclusions The core competences of evacuation nurses in navy are comprehensive.It is necessary to pay attention to and strengthen these core competences,so as to meet the needs of the development of naval nursing and medical service support.
