Home-based Hospice Care Practice of a Patient with Diabetic Foot Gangrene
This paper summarizes the practice of home-based hospice care with traditional Chinese medi-cine characteristics for a patient with diabetic foot gangrene.The main points of care include home visit to guide the family through the patient's diabetic foot care,assistance for the patient in establishing advance care planning,and providing the family with dignity therapy,spiritual support,and grief relief,so that the patient passes away with dignity,no regrets and peace.At the same time,it can reduce the pressure of fami-ly care and shorten the grieving process.
