Home infusion therapy(HIT)has been widely applied abroad,and the demand in China is increasingly prominent.The newly added standard HIT in Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice 2024 released by the Infusion Nurses Society of America is interpreted,including the applicable population for HIT,indications for medications,selection of vascular access and administration methods,prevention and management of risks related to HIT,health education,and interdisciplinary communication and collaboration.The interpretation aims to provide a reference for the implementation of HIT in China.
