Objective To understand the experiences of online nurses oppointment in responding to emergencies and summarize corresponding emergency response ability,and to provide reference for the selection,assessment and train-ing of online nurses oppointment.Methods From March to July 2023,a combined purposive combined with snowball sampling method was utilized to select 7 online nurses oppointment and 4 nursing managers from 7 tertiary A hospitals in Jiangxi,Hunan,and Henan Provinces for semi-structured and in-depth interviews,and the data were analyzed and sorted by the 7-step method of Colaizzi phenomenological approach.Results A total of 4 major types of capabilities were summarized:knowledge and skills,emergency response competence,emergency management competence,and general literacy.Conclusions Online nurses oppointment need to have multiple competencies to cope with emergencies,and strengthen their coping skills to promote the healthy and long-term development of Internet plus nursing services.
