An Analysis of the Autonomy and Constructiveness of Berman's Translation Criticism Model
The importance of translation criticism has been highlighted in the continuous deepening of translation activities,and the study of translation criticism also needs to be advanced on the basis of the combination of theory and practice.The French translation theorist Antoine Berman has in-depth research in the field of translation criticism.His translation criticism model based on modern hermeneutics theory is an active attempt in the process of scientification and systematization of translation criticism.This study analyzes Berman's translation criticism model from the perspective of theoretical construction and practical intervention,pointing out that its essential characteristics are autonomy and constructiveness,and thus provides reference for current translation criticism research.
