On the Body Representation of Optical War from the Perspective of"Corpography"
Drake Gregory,a human geographer,analyzes the ways in which those groups identified as"the other"represented in contemporary war culture from the perspective of the body in optical warfare of"corpography"concept."Corpography"concerns the"disappeared"bodies in optical war,which have been considered as violent by a geographical"architecture of enmity",these bodies thus could be disposed of at will.Applying"corpography"to literary criticism of optical war is to consider the body in multiple social factors and analyze the unchangeable nature of war from the perspective of visual culture and geography,and opens up a broad academic road for body research in literature.
