In recent years, voice in written discourse has been widely discussed. In view of its complexity, the construction of voice in the classroom needs further investigation. This study tracks the changes of two L2 learners'voices in one semester, during which six primary teaching activities are conducted, namely teacher lecturing, teacher feedback, peer feedback, sample essay analysis,reverse-position debate and group interview. The results indicate that the learners'voices are generally on the rise, and most activities help to improve their voice awareness in individual, social and dialogic dimensions. This study can not only enrich the investigation of voice in domestic context, but also provide inspirations for teachers, thus facilitating the teaching of L2 writing.
