On the Construction of Translators'Subjective Consciousness in State Translation Program
Since the birth of translation studies as a discipline, translation research has relied on a scientific paradigm that excludes individual experience, which has led to issues related to self,self-consciousness,and subject consciousness being absent in the theoretical construction.Only by continuously building the translator's subject consciousness can we avoid the loss of subjectivity. This requires the translator to streamline the being-with relationships with the national subject, the translation community, the Other within the community, and the self.Translators gain translation authority and autonomy through engagement with higher-level subjects, establish interactive relationships with the Other in the community field, and achieve resocialization through activities like self-reflection and creation. In the process of translating the intentions of the community, translators maintain their individuality.During the transition from self-consciousness to subject consciousness, they exercise subjectivity and creativity.Through reflective dialogue between"I"(the subjective self)and"me"(the objective self)within self, and between the self and the Other, translators construct their subjectivity. The construction of translators'subjectivity helps to enhance their translation competence and improve their translation personality.
