Translators'Occupational Discrepancy and Its Effects in English Translation of Sanguoyanyi
This study explores occupational distribution of translators in English translation of Sanguoyanyi and investigates the relationship between occupations and translation,analyzing the effects caused by the former upon the latter.As far as the existing literature is concerned,special attention has been predominantly paid to the studies of translators'motives.In fact,motives are often closely related to the identity and position of translators themselves,entailing due consideration of occupational discrepancy.Therefore,from the perspective of translators'occupations,exploring their effects in the whole dynamic process of translation is likely to blaze new trails and bring new discoveries.
