Experimental Investigation on Seismic Behavior of Mortise-Tenon Grouted Steel Tubular Frame Joint
To explore the low energy consumption and recycling technology of building steel structure, this paper studied the seismic performance of steel frame joint with mortise-tenon connection and mortar grouted to resist sliding. The low cycle reciprocating load tests were carried out on the mortise-tenon grouted joint and the traditional welded joint. The failure modes, the force-deformation hysteretic curves, ductility coefficient and bearing capacity were compared and analyzed, and the finite element analysis model was established to compare with the test results. The results show that the bearing capacity of mortise-tenon grouted joint in the elastic stage is equivalent to the welded joint. The ultimate bearing capacity of mortise-tenon grouted joint is higher than the welded joint, and the plastic development platform is longer. The failure mode of mortise-tenon grouted joint is mortar wear and crushing, and the damage of steel members is small. The friction energy dissipation effect is good, the hysteresis curve is full, and the mortar can be easily repaired after the earthquake.
