Numerical Analysis of Seismic Performance of a Controlled Rocking RC Frame with Beam-end Hinge Based on Static Test
Controlled rocking reinforced concrete frame with beam-end hinges(CR-RCFB)is a new type of resilient structure.Firstly, the shaking table test of a CR-RCFB structure was introduced. After the shaking table test, the main components of the structure were still in elastic status, only the replaceable energy dissipation device failed.Secondly,CR-RCFB was subjected to cyclic static loading tests, and the hysteretic curve, skeleton curve and rotational stiffness of the joints were obtained, and the measured mechanical parameters were substituted into the numerical model.By using the ABAQUS software the finite element models of CR-RCFB structures were established.Time-history analysis was carried out to obtain the dynamic characteristics and earthquake responses of the structure, and the acceleration and inter-story displacement responses were compared with the shaking table test results. The results show that the numerical simulation results are in good agreement with the shaking table test results.
