POPULATION DISTRIBUTION AND GROWTH DYNAMICS OF WILD PLANT OF CARDIOCRINUM CATHAYANUM IN JINGGANGSHAN MOUNTAIN
Cardiocrinum cathayanum is a national second-class key protective plant, and its wild resources are scarce. In order to assess its distribution and investigate the growth dynamics of wild populations,we investigated the wild resources in the Jinggangshan mountain. The result showed that:(1)the wild populations were found in Jingzhushan,Shangjing,Baizhuyuan,Dawoli and Zhaizili, with an altitude range of 840~1130 m,and the population size was Jingzhushan>Shangjing>Baizhuyuan>Dawoli>Zhaizili;(2)It was an understory plant, which mainly distributes in the forest margin, forest window areas, and the surrounding plants were mainly herbaceous, which was the dominant species of the community;(3)The growth of C.cathayanum was the best in Jingzhushan population and the worst in Shangjing population;(4)There was a significant positive correlation between the population size and altitude, the plant height and bulb weight were negatively correlated with pH values and positively correlated with humidity in the reproductive stage.
