Digital Economy,Innovation Capability,and High Quality Economic Development
Currently,the Chinese economy has shifted from high-speed development to high-quality development,and the digital e-conomy,as a new driving force for economic development,is becoming an important engine for promoting high-quality economic de-velopment.Based on provincial panel data from 2011 to 2019,this article constructs a comprehensive evaluation index system and uses a fixed effects model to explore the internal mechanism of the impact of the digital economy on high-quality development from an innovative perspective.The results indicate that the digital economy has effectively promoted high-quality economic development;Innovation capability plays a positive regulatory role in it.This influence has regional heterogeneity,with the central and western re-gions being more pronounced compared to the eastern regions.Therefore,the article proposes to strengthen technological innovation,continuously promote digital industrialization and industrial digitization construction,implement differentiated digital transformation strategies,and strengthen risk prevention.
