The coordinated development of higher education and regional economy is of great significance for promoting the develop-ment of local economy and enhancing the talent quality of the whole society.The article takes Liaoning Province as the research per-spective,analyzes the current situation of higher education and regional economic development in Liaoning Province,as well as the pain points in the coordinated development of the two,and refers to advanced models of industry education integration at home and abroad.Suggestions are proposed to optimize talent policies,deepen school enterprise cooperation,adjust the professional structure of higher education,increase investment in educational resources,and strengthen government macroeconomic regulation to promote the coordinated development of the two and achieve a win-win situation for all parties.
