Discussion on the Application and Volatility Improvement of TEDA Impregnant
Triethylenediamine(TEDA)is highly volatile and is easy to sublimate at room temperature, which negatively affects the adsorption performance of the iodine adsorbent.Based on this problem, the iodine adsorption technology, alternative materials of TEDA and ionic liquids were studied. On this basis,an effective approach to address the volatile problem of TEDA is proposed, which is to turn TEDA into a TEDA ionic liquids(TEDAILs).According to the structural characteristics and the iodine adsorption principle of TEDAILs,the iodine adsorption feasibility of TEDA ionic liquids is proved. The results show that TEDAILs is structurally modified compared with TEDA,and the temperature resistance is optimized by quaternary amination. However,it will not affect the chemical reaction path with CH3I,and it is preliminarily judged that TEDAILs can be used as alternative materials for TEDA iodine removal impregnating agent for more in-depth research.
