Study on One-Step Synthesis of Nano-CuO and its Catalytic Degradation of Rose Red B Dye Wastewater
Nano-cuo was synthesized in one step by the precipitation method with copper nitrate, ammonia and sodium hydroxide as raw materials. The decolorization performance of these materials on rose B dye wastewater catalyzed by hydrogen peroxide was further investigated. The structure of nano-CuO was characterized by XRD,N2-adsorption desorption and SEM.XRD results show that all the samples are nano-CuO with monoclinic crystal structure. The results of N2-adsorption and desorption show that the nano-CuO is mesoporous structure, and the pore size is mainly distributed at 3~4nm.The SEM results show that the nano-CuO is spherical and self-assembled by a large number of nano-CuO sheets. The results of decolorization test show that nano-CuO has a good effect on the degradation of rose red B dye wastewater by H2O2,and the decolorization rate can reach 97%after the reaction of about 2h.
