Study on the Extraction Process of Flavonoids from Caesalpinia Minax and its Antioxidant Activity
The extraction conditions of the flavonoids were improved using the response surface approach based on a one-way experiment, and the antioxidant activity of the flavonoids was tested using the DPPH method and the hydroxyl radical hair method. The average flavonoid extraction rate was 1.43%when the volume fraction of ethanol was 61%,the microwave power was 614 W,the microwave period was 7 minutes, the liquid-to-feed ratio was 50∶1 mL/g,and the extraction temperature was 70 ℃.Caesalpinia minax's ability to scavenge DPPH and hydroxyl radicals was favorably correlated to its mass concentration, with the maximum scavenging rates of 83.89%and 82.07%,respectively.The IC50 values for Caesalpinia minax flavonoid were 17 μg/mL and 130μg/mL,demonstrating that it exhibits antioxidant action.
