With the gradual increase of environmental pollution incidents,the importance of ecological environment damage assessment as an important basis and foundation for carrying out corresponding work is becoming increasingly prominent.This article takes a specific environmental pollution event as an example,and based on data collection,preliminary exploration,and other work,determines the ecological environment damage identification and evaluation work plan.Based on the results of sample collection,testing,and analysis,it is determined that the suspected contaminated soil is hazardous waste,and it is determined that the illegal discharge of toxic wastewater is the direct cause of damage to the surface water,groundwater,and soil ecological environment around the incident site.This study can provide reference practical suggestions for practitioners engaged in solid waste identification,ecological environment damage assessment,environmental monitoring,and environmental consulting.
