Study on the Impact of the Development of Digital Finance on the Credit Risk Management of Chinese Commercial Banks
With the data of 314 Chinese commercial banks from 2011 to 2020 as the research sample,the two-way fixed-effect model is used to empirically analyze the impact of the development of digital finance on the credit risk management of Chinese commercial banks.At the same time,we introduce the mediation effect,adjustment effect and heterogeneity analysis to analyze the role of loan scale and governance structure in the impact process,as well as the different performance of commercial banks of different properties.The research results show that the development of digital finance has intensified the credit risk of China's commercial banks.The bank governance structure plays a restraining role,and a sound governance structure can reduce credit risk.The development of digital finance has a significant impact on commercial banks of different properties,while small and medium-sized banks are greatly affected by it.
