Research on the Effective Path of Integrating Chinese Regional Culture into English Teaching in Vocational Colleges and Universities
Vocational college English courses have unique advantages in carrying out the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating students,which is an important way to integrate Chinese regional culture into the implementation of cultural education and enhance cultural self-confidence.Combining with the current situation of English teaching in vocational colleges and universities,this paper explores the integration path from the aspects of changing teaching concepts,providing security for schools,strengthening teachers'cultivation,innovating teaching materials and so on,which is helpful to enhance students'cultural identity and belonging,establish cultural confidence,and heighten national pride,so as to achieve the goal of"educating the whole person".Spreading Chinese regional culture and telling Chinese stories well in English is conducive to culture"going abroad".
