Under the background of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality,the construction field is the key industry of emission reduction and carbon reduction,and the increase of construction cost restricts the development process of emission reduction and carbon reduction.This paper summarizes the stage division of building life cycle at home and abroad,summarizes the research status of carbon emission and cost in recent years from the perspective of life cycle,and puts forward the research direction of carbon emission and cost in building life cycle in the future.
