Research on influencing factors of inter-provincial carbon emission reduction based on the perspective of factor input
The Cobb-Douglas(C-D)production function is embedded in the Kaya identity, and the logarithmic mean Deehlier decomposition(LMDI)is used to decompose the influencing factors of carbon emissions into energy structure, energy intensity per unit of gross domestic product(GDP),capital input, labor input and technical factors, and the impact of each factor on carbon emission reduction in time span and spatial differences in 30 provincial-level administrative regions of China is studied and analyzed for the carbon emissions generated by 8 major energy consumption in 30 provincial-level administrative regions of China in 2008~2017.The results show that the effect of energy structure on carbon emission reduction is limited. The energy intensity effect per unit of GDP plays a key role in carbon emission reduction, and is the most stable factor for carbon emission reduction.Capital investment is an important factor influencing the increase of carbon emissions. The effect of labor input has gradually had a positive impact on carbon emission reduction. The technical factors represented by the Solow residual value effect have different effects on carbon emission reduction.
